Unable to port a 082 number to telkom sim

Hi I took out a Telekom deal that gave me 2 voice sim contracts and 5 data contracts. I was told that I could port my 082 prepaid number over and use one of the voice contracts. After going into the store 3 times they are now saying that I can't do this. Does anyone know if this is possible.
